Things/People I'm Looking Forward to When I Get Back to Toronto

This is not in order (except the first item). Also, these are based on my experiences, which are inherently tied up in my location. Don't take these to be generalisations about Korea the country. Also, there are no explanations. Ask questions if you like, though.

  • My family;
  • Being able to run outside without people staring and thinking I'm a freak;
  • Being able to walk outside without people staring and thinking I'm a freak, then nudging their friends so they can stare too;
  • Fluevog;
  • BMV;
  • Easily accessible yoga classes;
  • Easily accessible cheese;
  • My friends;
  • Coffee shops that open before 10am;
  • Being justifiably annoyed when the store attendant does not speak English;
  • Sitting on a bus, at a bus stop or generally being still around people without them reaching up to feel my hair without even saying hi, let alone asking me first, like I'm an animal in a petting zoo;
  • Bus passes;
  • Knowing where to look to find things;
  • Daily hugs;
  • Downtown in the Summertime;
  • Online shopping;
  • Being able to order food for 1 person in a restaurant/bistro/food place;
  • Glen, who does my hair in Toronto. And does it GOOOOD;
  • Grocery shopping;
  • .... that's it for now... maybe I'll add more as they come to me...
*UPDATED*
  •  Cheesecake. REAL cheesecake.
